Snapshot’s supporters

Snapshot was founded by Ironbark Sustainability and BZE with support from the Lord Mayors Charitable Foundation, and Sustainability Victoria. Snapshot has since expanded and evolved to cover all municipalities, federal electorates, and states in Australia and include new higher quality data sets.

In 2022 the Victorian Government provided funding and support to update Snapshot with new features to improve data accuracy, depict profiles in time-series, and provide detailed sub-sector data in order to support collaborative action by councils and local communities, households, businesses and industries.
